I live near Atlanta, Ga. and am Founder and Executive Director of HawkTalk, Inc. a charitable organization where I keep and care for orphaned and injured raptors. Not all of the birds you will view could be saved however, and some of my photographs are of raptors that either died or were subsequently euthanized which makes my work even more poignant (to me, anyway :-). As the number of photographs increase with time, you will see a mix of wild orphans slated for release as well as my collection of non-releasable raptors which I utilize as teaching tools.

Oh yeah...I'm CRAZY about cats, plants and bugs, too! Maybe just...crazy, PERIOD!

Just checked out your blog- nice....like the baby owl staring out of its little house...looks like me in the morning :)
And you cat could be the brother of one of my friend´s furry boys at the stable- will post a pic...only Mousi is a little fatter....he just loves his mice....

Admire what you are doing- I am into dolphin and whales conservation as well as a big animal lover in general- wished there would be more of us out there...
We got a bunch of beautiful falcons and eagles around- one of them sat at my window for some time just saying hello....wonderful animals..

I love your fotos, as a child i watched a barn owl raise its chicks in my uncles ranch in Argentina.

I believe you may fall in the "benign Misanthrope" side of life. I do surely much rather spend time with my pack of dogs and cats as well as the Squirrels, last year i raised a Possum which was abandoned by its mother after falling off its back. we also raised a baby Squirrel. Homo sapience i'm not crazy about (xcept for my best friend Jane).I love your fotos, as a child i watched a barn owl raise its chicks in my uncles ranch in Argentina.
