I have fond memories of my father sitting us down to an old fashioned slide show of the pictures he took while we were all on vacation. Those slides were clear, sharp and BIGGGGG (assuming he got the picture right)!

Durch Zufall bin ich auf eines deiner Fotos gestoßen, war fasziniert, klickte mich durch deine Sammlung und die Begeisterung wuchs. Sofort klickte ich auf "orange". Doch noch ein Wort zu den Kommentaren:
Obwohl du ab jetzt auf meiner Buddy-Liste bist, wirst du sicher nicht unter jedem deiner Bilder eine Satz von mir wie "genial" etc. finden. Aber ich finde viele deiner Fotos sehr gut - das soll hier als Sammelbemerkung gesagt sein und ich freue mich auf mehr.

It's real. It's a big kind of grassopper.Looks like a 'giant' because I used macro mode, which change a little the proportions.
The photo was made in Bonito, Brasil near the border with Paraguay, 2 weeks ago.

Da Du aus Hofheim bist, hätte ich mal eine Frage an Dich: Kennst Du in Hofheim / + Umgebung eine "erhöhte" Stelle, von wo man die FFM-Skyline sieht ??? Ich habe vor längerer Zeit ein sehr schönes dementsprechendes Bild in FC gesehen; aber bisher vergeblich am Kapellenberg danach gesucht.

ja, ich habe beide Velvia's mehrfach ausprobiert. Man kann hin und hergerissen sein. Sind beide genial wie ich finde, 100F vielleicht sogar noch etwas feiner in dr Körnung. Trotz dieser tollen Filme muss ich ehrlich gestehen, dass ich froh bin wenn ich endlich digital fotografieren kann :-). Filme, Scans, schlechte Abzüge aus Labors...ich hoffe das ist dann vorbei...:-)
