I have been photographing for many years, at first in the old-fashioned way with film and chemicals, nowadays digitally.
From the beginning of 2006 i have been working as a freelance photographer, lately also regularly for one of the larger Dutch Newsagencies Novum/Reuters. Nowadays parttime while i also work for a company selling and advising photographic equipment.
While sportphotography is my main interest, i allways try to be as versatile as possible. I work for Amnesty International regularly and a growing number of customers seem to be pleased with my work as well.
I work with Nikon cameras and i do most of my processing in Nikon Capture NX while i convert RAW with the Bibble Pro converter. To some extend i use Photoshop for the few edits i can not make in Capture.
Bibble Pro gives utmost control over the result.
I use NIK plug in filters quite often in order to optimize colour and sharpness.
Presently i use two Nikons D300 , Nikkor 2.8/300mm, Nikkor 2.8/70-200mm, Nikkor 2.8/17-55mm Tokina 4./12-24mm and Nikkor 1.4/50mm, flashunits SB-800 and SB-900 for Strobist photography, triggered by a Nikon SU-800 commander.

I like this art of fotography and presentation.
It's really a shame, that no conversation with photographers like you take place. I haven't experienced that.
So i give you now many compliments and will have a look on your pictures sometimes.
