I was born in Surabaya on the island of Java, Indonesia. I have spent the most time of my childhood in Sidoarjo. My way of capturing images has been influenced by this.

I' ve always been caught by the spell of how daylight has playfully touched upon images, and thus creating natural shadows.

In my vision, when a picture consist 90%of shadow, I perceive it as light.
This is also how I perceive the world.

I have to say thanks Ron for my first ever nomination. I haven't spent much time on the community lately after being sucked in by flickr, and was surprised by the new layout etc, as well as a nomination to gallery on my return!
I just hope that people take some time to read my explanation and know that I'm not trying to glorify violence.
