I was born in Surabaya on the island of Java, Indonesia. I have spent the most time of my childhood in Sidoarjo. My way of capturing images has been influenced by this.

I' ve always been caught by the spell of how daylight has playfully touched upon images, and thus creating natural shadows.

In my vision, when a picture consist 90%of shadow, I perceive it as light.
This is also how I perceive the world.

I have to say thanks Ron for my first ever nomination. I haven't spent much time on the community lately after being sucked in by flickr, and was surprised by the new layout etc, as well as a nomination to gallery on my return!

i have a quote from the voting comments :

I want to ask for your consideration, not to look at this thinking.. "hmm its different than the other photograph i have seen with Liza and her mask of make-up"; but as individual works, for individual uses.
It doesnt matter if your vote is PRO or CONTRA, just keep in mind that they are all Unique.
And when proposed should be *at least i think so* ; looked at without thinking of all the other works i have made, but on its own. Its about this photograph that is being voted for, regardless if i have ones that are more to your liking

Welcome to FC. It's a great place. Remember to bring the boxing gloves. Can be a tough neighborhood at times. Just keep on your toes, a bit of fancy foot work, bob and weave when needed and you'll do just fine. Your welcome in my corner any time.
