in a street of the Buenos Aires district of La Boca. This is where the Italians first settled and built their houses out of corrugated iron. A very colourful and touristy area - and I will show you more.

When I first saw the thumb, I thought it must be the south of Europe.... and you give the explenation for it. Beautiful in colour but also because of the dappled shade. Looking forward to more of this part of the town.Regards

a very beautiful street! it seems to "breathe" easy living! and i'm fascinated with all those many horizontal and vertical lines and boards – the bars on the balconies, the wooden shingles, shade etc.! they create such great shadowplay! and the colors are so cheerful, that even the "prosaic" paint on that pole in the foreground and the trash in the street look good and seem to perfectly fit the atmosphere! looking forward to more! hugs, sabine.Inez Correia Marques, 22.03.2010 a las 10:11 horas
