We had a freak snowfall - I rushed to VanDusen Gardens and captured a few scenes - the snow was all gone over the next 24 hours. I could not show these images because everybody was so sick of snow then.

There is no doubt: snow does brighten a winter's day. This is an attractive view. Your are fortunate to have such a lovely park near you. (Though I mustn't complain either...) This year you've just caught us in time. It's snowing now, but we're still enjoying it! :-)Regards

In March!!!!That is really amazing..
Some years ago in the the Uk i with=ness also a day of snow at Easter day.. People also thought it was so unusual.
Beautiful landscape all dressed in white,I lve it.
I had my first white Christmas this here, I never had seen really the snow:-)

i love "freak snowfalls", especially when it's almost spring already, and some of the early bloomers are "up and out" already – spring colors covered in wintry white again… your shot's beautiful, adele! no spring in it yet, except for the light, i think! and the lake/pond looks vast against the snow-covered shrubs and trees… hugs, sabine.Angelika El., 10.01.2010 a las 10:42 horas
Hach, das ist ja traumhaft schön!!! Herrlich die verschneiten Bäume! Ich weiß immer nicht, ob ich lieber die dick mit Schnee behangenen Tannen oder die filigranen Äster der Laubbäume mit ihrem zarten Schneeschmuck mag!!!! Diese winterliche Stimmung mit den feinen Spiegelungen ist einfach ein Genuss!!! Hab gerade eine Sondersendung im TV gesehen - teilweise in Norddeutschland Schnee bis an die Autofenster und die Autofahrer teilweise eingeschlossen - sie buddeln sie oft von Hand aus... - Straßen, Fährverbindungen, Brücken etc. sind gesperrt...
Ich wünsche Dir einen schönen Sonntag!!!

I love all your views of this wonderful park Adele, and it is a good idea to catalogue it throughout the changing seasons. I think my favourite has to be the Autumn picture purely for all the magnificent colours although this is a winter beauty. Brrr!! Your pictures would make excellent promotion shots for the park.Regards

Ja,sooo ein Foto bietet sich für alle 4 Jahreszeiten an :<) vielleicht friert er noch zu und die Schlittschuhläufer kommen in Scharen :-) sicher ist es aber auch ein genialer Froschteich und ich kann nur hoffen,dass du zu Weihnachten ein Tele dafür bekommen hast ;+)LGrüezi -Holger

Adele I feel the same, its a very famose Photo.At now we have a wonderful Winterlandscape in Germany and at the next Weekend we have a User Meeting in Willingen, than I make a lot of Winterphotos to.

Ich bin etwas verwundert.Das ist eine schöne Aufnahme von einer netten Winterlandschaft. Da gibt´s nichts zu meckern. Aber ein Bild für die Galerie ist es für mich nicht. Das Motiv ist recht gewöhnlich und der Bildschnitt ist auch nicht aufregend.
It´s a nice picture of a nice landscape. No doubt. But for me it doesn´t belong to the gallery.
