This Canada goose is already looking for a cosy place to built a nest soon (early april).
The species is native to North America and Canada and was introduced to Europe around 300 years ago.

Dutch name: Canadese gans
German name : Kanadagans
Latin name : Branta canadensis

beautiful tone-on-tone shot ; ))! – the goose matches her surroundings perfectly! like the "relaxed" look on her face a lot, and the "liquid" reflection on the water! remember this kind of goose from childhood: there were many of them in the parks we used to go to. haven't seen them around lately, though… greetings, sabine.
