This plant with its striking purple springflowers is native to western, central and southern Europe.
In Belgium however it’s a very rare species but I found them growing in the ‘Wolfsbush’ at Montenau.

The plant is highly toxic, in particular for dogs !

Dutch name : Wildemanskruid
German name : Kuhschelle
Latin name : Pulsatilla vulgaris
