This picture is just my idea of planet Mars with the ocean. If there is any water, meaby it looks like on this picture. Who knows.. :o) This picture was actually taken on one of the many beaches in Sydney (Mona Vale Beach) :o)
Used equipment:
Cokin ND4 (153)
Canon EF 17-40mm USM L
Canon EOS 350D Digital Rebel XT
This is a great shot by a talented photographer. I love the composition, atmosphere and the unusual lighting. In my opinion this shot is worth a spot in a gallery.
Sorry, but I'm going to be cruel because I think Radim is capable of a lot more ... ie. no doubt this is a superb photo with exceptional use of light and great detail in the shadows. However, to complete the pic I think the composition is lacking and would have preferred a strong feature in the foreground leading my eye into the rest of the pic. So it's a skip for me ... sorry;-)
Lovely shot using slow shutter Radim, maybe the sky is quite isolated from the lower half and the rocks passing above the horizon may have helped, but this is a nice image with nice colours and feeling. Regards, Paul.
i knew that this would'nt take long to get into the gallery voting, just beautiful, the composition and colours and the overall feel of this wonderful image
a big fat cheesy Pro !~
I agree, the lighting on this is wonderful. I think the presentation and picture work together to make the mood. I like Radim's explanation and title. Clearly, his work displays his capabilities and I think the highlights/shadows/lighting reflect that ability. Pro.
I would like to thank everyone who participated in gallery voting :) Again, your nice commets gave me more inspiration and motivation!
Good light to all of you.
Best regards, Radim. ;)
