There are lots of people believing that Atatürk was only something like a god or saint or heroe or something like that.
In my opinion, every idiot can live a holy life. To do so, you just have to believe in rules someone else is telling you, a god, a priest or someone like this, and not to ask questions but to obey the rules.

A realy great one is someone who is doing what he / she decides what to do. These people are living a real life with loves, hates, mistakes, sence of humor, good and bad ideas ... And I think, Ataturk was far more than a saint, he was one of these real human beeings.

To show respect means to accept the real human beeing with all his facets like in this picture - to show misrespect is to deny the human beeing like lots of people do, who want Atatürk only to be seen as the heroe, standing alone and ruling armys or countrys or things like that.

Sometimes you can be so lucky to find a real respektful exhibition like the one at Ciragan Caddesi, Besiktas, Istanbul

Eine gute Annäherungsweise möchte ich erstmal sagen. Dass man von einem normalen Menschen wie von einem Gott redet, ist nicht zu begreifen. Manchmal, wenn Leute, die nicht an den normalen, sondern an den "göttlichen" Atatürk glauben, lesen oder hören, dass er auch Witze erzählt hat und gelacht hat etc., verwundern sie sich darüber, als hätte er nicht unter seinen Mitmenschen gelebt, nicht gegessen, nicht geschlafen. Komisch...!

So sieht man auch auf dem Foto, dass er das Meer und die Mädels genießt, wie ein Sterblicher.

Gut, dass Du das Foto hier hochgeladen hast. Danke Dir und Besiktas Belediyesi...
