rows of precisely clipped cedars in the cemetery of Punta Arenas - except they missed a small area on the right - in the far distance a grave marker ..... and we saw other trees in a small park shaved like this :-))

Punta Arenas is the capital city of Chile's southernmost region, Magallanes and Antartica Chilena. It is the largest city south of the 46th parallel. Punta Arenas was originally established by the Chilean government in 1848 as a tiny penal colony....

Was für eine eindrucksvolle Allee! Mir gefällt sie in ihrer Schlichtheit weitaus besser als die Urnenkästen, wenn sie auch keinen Blumenschmuck aufweisen können - oder besser. gerade weil es so ist ...

Beautiful and very interesting series from Punta Arenas,Adele. I didn't reach so far down in Chile but from what I gather it looks very much like Usuaia the little town in the southmost tip of Tierra del Fuego in Argentina, the southest inhabited place in the world. I remember one of the most astonishing things in that area was the sudden change in weather conditions. Beautiful photos you showed to us.

Fascinante perspective entre ces thuyas bien taillés et alignés comme des soldats en parade . Les lignes des courbes de gauche sont rigoureusement parallèles .
