The cottage and the mill
The first mill on this spot was built around 1345 and was later rebuilt in the 18th century.
A complete restoration took place between 2000 and 2002.
The mill is called ‘Hertboommolen’ and is still able to grind grain.
Location : Onze-Lieve-Vrouw-Lombeek (Belgium)
Special note for the Belgians : this mill and cottage were used as film set in the famous and very popular youth television series ‘Captain Zeppos’.
