She has come to honor her past. The people that was apart of her life. You can see that there are many from all the new fresh candles placed which sh has lit one by one. With so much illumination, God will certainly hear her prayers. She has two rows going, and a very long list from a very big family that was. She is alone, I wonder who will light a candle for her when her flame goes out.

She trusts that her God will bring all her family good with each candle. For her sake I hope that is true. Good photo and a inspiring scene.

We all know well your great B/W photos but on this one you showed how great your color photos can be. I don't think the lady is very worried if somebody will light a candle for her one day, she is guided by her believing in God and maybe this is the only important thing for her.

wonderful intense picture.
Since I tried it in St.Marie de la mer in the grotte of the black madonna, and failed - I know how dificult it is to take a picture at all and a good one like yours is almost impossible.
