My name is Karel de Beer and I live in Tilburg, a city in the southern part of the Netherlands (W.-Europe). I am an amateur photographer who used to take pics mainly on holidays and family celebrations. However, at the end of the year 2007 I said goodbye to my first digital camera, a Minolta Dimage Z1 because I did purchase a Canon EOS 400D. So I hope the year 2008 will bring me a lot of new photo-experiences!
Kindest regards and my best wishes to everybody for a happy and healthy new (photo)year,
In May 2012 I signed an agreement with Agora Gallery in New York (Chelsea) for a one year representation (www.Agora-Gallery.com). So I submitted to them a portfolio with photos of mine. A selection will be exposed during an exhibition at Agora Gallery from 2 till 22 March 2013. In anticipation, a first selection is placed in their online gallery Art-Mine. These photos are already available as photographic prints on dibond covered with acrylate. Please go to: http://www.art-mine.com/artistpage/karel_de_beer.aspx
So, coming now to the end of my American project, I can conclude it was a fascinating year with many new and busy events. My exhibit was successful and my photos got many positive comments so as in some art magazines. In the meanwhile I did widen my portfolio of works available as enlargments to be exposed by myself (or purchased by you!) As at Agora's they will be high quality produced as photoprints glued on dibond and covered by plexiglass (size max.: 60x90 cm, limited editions.) This offer concerns my albums Agora Collection, Squares, Religious Perspectives and Rural castles. Information: email@example.com
