Luca Scarpelli

I am an amateur photographer, my profession is another, I am a teacher of secondary school. I photographed for twenty years, in the analog era, and then stopped the activity dedicating myself to something else. For over a year I have started again with new energy, great fun and satisfaction to shoot, this time in the digital field. My favorite genres are landscapes and nature, often in black and white and with long exposures. My choice for B&W is mainly due to that surreal atmosphere that B&W already naturally creates, to this I chose the addition of the long exposure technique just to increase the sense of surreal from which I have always been fascinated, not only in photography but also in other artistic fields. In this last period I am dedicating myself to a project that has already lasted for several months and which aims to create surreal situations and atmospheres on the stage of Lake Trasimeno, a lake that I really love and that is very close to where I live.
