Por los años setenta estuve practicando la separación de tonos (posterización); para ello se requería realizar tres contactos del negativo, uno para las altas luces, otro para las media y otro más para las bajas. Luego, con gran precisión debía de casarse perfectamente y con los mismos efectuar una ampliación. Era muy engorroso, ya que se realizaba sobre pelicula ortocromática (los contactos), trabajando con una luz ináctinica para el rojo. Todo ello en un lúgrube laboratorio, en que apenas se veía..
Hoy he estado investigando en Photoshop, para realizar lo mismo. Mucho más cómodo y totalmente controlable.
