The color treatment you brought to this iconic - and often photographed scene - makes it a real standout!
I also love the way the pedestrians in foreground give the composition an element of scale and "human-ness," as well as how the vivid splash of a lighter green in the trees engages the eye and leads it into the "Canyon of Steel."
A favorite!

Du hast die richtige Perspektive gewaehlt, um diese Haeuserschluchten und gleichzeitig auch noch die W.-Kratzer mit auf's Bild zu bekommen. Das ist Dir perfekt gelungen. Auch die unterschiedlichen Lichtverhaeltnisse hast Du voll im Griff.
Sehr schoen anzuschauen, auch mit dem Stadtgruen.
Obwohl NY nicht unbedingt die Stadt ist, die ich unbedingt gesehen haben muß. Da ist mir Paris oder Hamburg doch lieber ;>))

Könnte auch Canyon-street heißen, so tief wie diese Schlucht ist. Erstaunlich, wie viel Licht doch noch den Weg bis nach unten findet. Erstaunlich für mich auch die Farbenvielfalt, ich nahm an, dass es alles Graufarben sind. In welchem floor warst Du, als diese Aufnahme entstand ?
