one of the many cruiseships that leave from the downtown docks at Vancouver's Trade and Convention Centre ... I took this in May on my cellphone - waiting for my passport to be issued.

Today the Trade and Convention Centre, and back when I first saw it, it was the first IMAX cinema.
An stunning harbour and city.

thank you everybody for all your good wishes - I am back and should be
active again in the next few days. Yes, we took a cruiseship - smaller than
this one, but we can no longer sail this far on our boat (it took 3 months
when we did at a younger age) ... there are no roads, only planes or ships
to reach the southern Alaskan Coast and its towns.

  ja, ich verstehe - aber man kann nur per Flugzeug oder Schiff zur Sued Alaska Kueate kommen - keine Landwege ...
