The best-known common name for the Xanthorrhoea is black boy, based on the purported similarity in appearance of the trunked species to an Aboriginal man holding an upright spear. Most people now consider this name to be racist and offensive to Aborigines, or at least belonging to the past, preferring instead grass-tree

Wunderbar in Blüte, Hans! Blackboys darf man in SA nicht mehr sagen, weil es als rassistisch gegen die Aboriginees gilt.

  Life is an excellent trip to many destinations.
  I’m Hans, and I travel our glorious country, Solo. With my Dog George in my mind and heard George was my companion for many years, together we went on adventures camping, hiking, fishing, swimming and photographing the scenery, meeting people on the land, in country towns & other travellers. George and I regularly travelled, from a quick weekend stop a few hours from our home in of South West Australia to a week-long trip to take in country festivals or horse events. Rodeos Each June-July we toke at least 4-6 weeks out to experience a long trek across our beautiful country.
  
  My aim now is to help heal my beautiful country. Visit Australia, Australia needs promoting the outback and our farmers, enabling them to provide a one-stop for tourists seeking farm-stay, homestead accommodation.
