Lightplay at sunrise

I took this photo at Waverly cemetary at 4:45am.
The cemetary is on a cliffside and faces east. I think it casts a light on the gravestones offering new beginnings rather than an end.

I like the contrast between the golden light on the gravestones and the dark clouds above. Great variation of shapes too.

Really good shot. I have been to this cemetary......I think. As long as it is the one that is on the cliff overlooking Bondi!!

Many people have commented on the colours, but I suggest that you try desaturating this image into grey tones? Then you will see the real power of your compositon.
