My dear friend Ansgar, this the kind of picture and photography that really touches me. This kind of pictures really emmit strong messages but they also reflect knowledge and sensitivity in the field of photography. (I would vote for appreciation" or "public favourite" but I don't really beleive in those things...) My beloved ASAHI PENTAX K100 is also plenty with such memoriew...!)

  ..thanks a lot, my friend, for this beautiful comment! The K 1000 was my travel-camera and was with me for more than 15 years - I once bought it in Mexico, in a city called Guadalajara - because some guys stole my Spotmatic F....Have a nice evening!

Nice photo...ASAHI PENTAX K 1000, what a history had this camera in my hands, Ansgar!. I remember I was among the first to buy it in my England days back in 1974 only to replace it much later with the NIKON F3(Photomic)

  ..this camera also had a history to me: after they stole my Pentax Spotmatic F and the Olympus XA in Mexico-City, I needed a new camera. So I found the K 1000 in a little Photo-Shop in Guadalajara (Jalisco) for about 300 $ with a 50 and a 35mm lens...and since then it was my camera for travelling...I still own it...friendly regards, have a nice day! Die Verlassenheit, ja, tote Leere dieses Ortes
kommt durch deine SW-Bildsprache, Ansgar,
die dir wohl immer noch sehr nahe ist,
so stark zum Ausdruck,
dass sie in mir ein Gefühl von Trostlosigkeit auslöst...

Das ist kunstvolle Fotografie,
die über das rein Dokumentarische hinausgeht...
