on the right the old entrance to Montevideo ..... and to the left the overwhelming sight of this huge apartment building .... a very sad choice of renovations (NOT a collage)
The Gateway of the Citadel (Puerta de la Ciudadela) is one of the few remaining parts of the wall that surrounded the oldest part of the city of Montevideo, the citadel, which was torn down in 1829. It is located by Plaza Independencia, in Ciudad Vieja.

Was für ein hässlicher Neubau und in der Ecke kann man einen schönen alten Bau erahnen, mag den Bildaufbau sehr, macht die Szene interessant.

Dieser riesige Kasten ist wahrlich nicht schön zu nennen - aber er gib Vielen Wohnraum und Deine Aufnahme ist beeindruckend - hattest einen idealen Aufnahmestandpunkt!!! LG! a.

The new and the old ruins ! I think the modern time is rushing unstoppable faster than ourcreativity . And so we`ll have in the next century still the old ruins to admire..
