The national flower of Japan, the cherry blossom – or Sakura, represents a time of renewal and optimism. The pops of pink mark the ending of winter and signify the beginning of spring. Due to their quick blooming season, cherry blossoms also symbolize the transience of life, a major theme in Buddhism.

Wishing all my dear friends and visitors to my site a happy Easter and joyful Spring despite all our current restrictions !!!

Wonderful cherry blossoms. Here in Essen-Rüttenscheid a Japanise Business-Man presented these trees to the city of Essen and the shopping street, the Rüttenscheider Strasse,- is wonderfully decorated with cherry blossoms each spring.

C'est absolument superbe. On peut dire qu'on voit la vie en rose.:-))) Le contraste de couleur donne beaucoup de charme à cette vue cadrée avec talent.
