Danke für die interessante Diskussion. Ich verstehe, was Felix meint und ganz unrecht hat er nicht. Ich bin trotzem ganz zufrieden mit dem Bild, für einen unüberarbeiteten Kompaktkamerashot finde ich es ganz akzeptabel ;-)Simone Stork 21/10/2007 20:10

Looking at daniels comment now, i see that he proved my point by trying to defend the image. He mentiones that there are many points of interest.The mood is set, but the main character missing..;-). Of course just a personal view.

@MatthiasI know that you did not use flash and of course there are always a lot of ways to take a picture.There is rarely a right or wrong. I did not wnated to suggest the picture is bad. :-).. others came to its defence, as I see. ;-)
Your picture showes a lot of the mood in that street.
With point of interest and flash i meant creating a foreground. Lets say someone closer to the camera, giving the image an additional level, using a fill flash to light that person, face, portraiture.
I guess I see the potential for an even better picture, not so much the critique on this first picture before us you posted.

Ich finde, jeder point of interest hätte die Stimmung des Vorbeigehens zerschlagen. Das Licht ist so, dass man glaubt, selbst dazusein.Ein tolles Bild - lass Dich nicht irritieren.

Danke für die Kritik! Werde mir die 'point of interest'-Frage merken.Ich hatte hier keinen Blitz verwendet, das sind die verschiedenen Lampenarten, die so ein Licht ergeben haben.

Interesting neighbourhood. Wished there would be a clearer point of interest in your picture.Longtime exposures and flash can lead to surprsing results.
