Sehr filigranes Makro einer Schwebefliege. Die Schärfe sitzt genau richtig, was bei Makros aus insb. der Hand ja nicht so einfach ist. Und das Überwiegend Gelbe past gut zu der Fliege.

An nice capture of this hoverfly. I also like to take macro pictures from hoverflies. It's interesting to see how many different species exist. I'm not sure, that Scaeva pyrastri is correct. This species has white comma markings on the abdomen and "your" species has yellow ones. For me it looks like a Scaeva selenitica, but i'm not really sure.

  thank you, Bernd ....I think you are totally right - thought first that the markings are yellow from the reflections of the yellow blossom, but there are white markings too, and it cannot be the sun.....
