The Living Forest (529) : Chiffchaff
The chiffchaff is a passerine bird which breeds in open woodlands throughout Europe and Asia and got its name from its simple distinctive song, a repetitive cheerful ‘chiff-chaff’.
It’s a migratory bird, but it is one of the first birds to return to its breeding areas in the spring and among the last to leave in late autumn.

Latin name : Phylloscopus collybita
