The lull after the storm --- Årjäng harbor

Ich liebe die nicht ganz so sprichwörtliche Ruhe NACH dem Sturm. Man wundert sich so über den Frieden, der auf einmal nach dieser Naturgewalt auftaucht und so unnatürlich wirkt. Dieses Foto hier stammt aus der kleinen schwedischen Stadt Årjäng, Värmland. Nachdem uns ein Sturm überrascht hatte und wir mehrere Stunden unter einem kleinen Unterstand verbracht hatten war diese Ruhr besonders eindrucksvoll... eine schöne Erinnerung.

I really love the lull AFTER the storm. It’s definitely not as famous as the more often phrased lull before the storm but its evenly impressive in my opinion. You wonder how peaceful it can be right after you experienced such brute force of nature just some second ago. This picture was taken during a trip to the small Swedish town Årjäng, Värmland. After we were surprised by a storm and endured for hours crouching under a small shelter this lull became especially impressive and a nice little memory of mine.
