Iniciamos un recorrido por las "Tierras Altas" (Highlands) de Escocia en las bodegas donde, en penumbra y silencio, maduran en barricas de roble español los destilados de esta centenaria productora de whisky.
Como aperitivo no está mal...

Ese whisky tiene que tener mucha solera.madurando en barricas españolas. jajaja. me gusta el contraluz de esa vieja y rancia ventana. Un abrazo Lola!!

Y es gracias a esas mismas barricas que los diferentes whiskys obtienen tanto su color (por los vinos, mayormente jerez) como su particular aroma adicional!A mi me comentaron durante una visita similar que por ello las destilerias intentaban conseguir las barricas siempre de la misma bodega...

A it is thanks to these barrels that those different whistkies get their colour and particular additional aroma (most often from the Spanish wines / sherries they previously contained).
I heard during a similar visit that therefore the distilleries tried to buy the barrels always in the same wineries...
Great shop, wonderful colours and atmosphere, I like it a lot.
And the photo's title fits VERY well!
