Winter Solstice 2009
The first day of Winter, but the days are getting longer again. Vancouver celebrates Winter Solstice every year with lantern processions and song, theatre and dance in several of our Community Centres.
This is a window display of a lady fashioned totally out of recycled metal pieces. I had very little light for this late afternoon shot but think it's ok.

Hello Adele!I find it very interesting, that Vancouver celebrates winter solstice, because you know in Germany is nothing similar!
