My dear Sabine, from what I gather this witty Ulysses must have been, after all, a very wicked kind of character...After deceiving the Trojans with his wooden horse, Homer tells us that he planned his way back full of nostalgia for his beloved. The fact is that he took his time and did..ten years to come back not only because of rough seas but...because of the services of wicked Kirki, of the beautiful sirenes and of so many other probably.. extremely pleasurable adventures while back home faithful wife Penelope, dog Argos, friends, countrymen and God knows how many more were waiting patiently for him!... But, any way, with all respect to Mythology and to our great poet we praise him as symbol of boldness, tenacity, insistence, endurance and homeland nostalgia!...And so we must!..
thanks for your comments, my best regards
alexander

Many thanks Sabine, as always a beautiful comment. Have gone back every evening since then to see if I can improve on the "pink spray" but every time it was overcast by the fog bank and just grey. So will have to try some more (cat is half sitting on my laptop - difficult to type. He always does that when I read or am at the computer to make sure he gets all the attention)Wish you a good week, cathy
Hi Sabine, as usual your wonderful comments, thank you. I am struggling a bit mit Tieraufnahmen, dont seem to be able to resist from cutting off their heads and what not, very difficult when so many are massed in so confined a space.Went the next day again and the scene was totally different, water grey, contrast not so stark but also very beautiful in the pastel colors. I have tried the story with the legs only because it really is so impressive just to see all those red verticals, must try again.
At the moment I am battling with myself , dont feel like shooting "realistically". Also want to see what I can do with "panning" that is if I can get it right. Wish you a good sunday and many many thanks, cathy
