Thanks for your comments Esther, in fact we have a lot in common, we turned our passion into a life form recently, and we got and have the same camera bodies, I'm working with an eos 300D (I own a eos 300 also, it was my first), and the results are simply quicker, so you might grow faster as photographer..... Now I'm thinking in upgrade my optics, for a better Sigma's 18-50 (f2,8) 70-200 DG (2,8) and a Canon EF-s 60 macro.... Good luck.
HI Ester The "Lily" Had real raindrops and the "raindrops" were not. Now there's acontradiction of terms. I spray the Iris leaf with water from a plastic aerosol. Another trick is to use liquid glycerine which you can purchase from a chemist, using a brush or stick put a drop or so onto a leaf or a blade of grass. Not only do'es it look like water, but unlike water,
it will stay there.
thanks Esther, I thought the grave stones reflected on the church wall were rather creepy.
Regards John.
PS I still have'nt forgotten the "sensitive" picture I'm try to piece together in my mind how I did it.
Dag se, Esther, ons heet u welkom hier op FC.
Ons wil nog van jou kiek kies sien!!!
Greetings to Castricum, from Downunder.

Hello Esther, thanks for your comment. I took this yesterday as it was our national holiday( pity they can not give us give us more) at a place called Anglsey Abby.
Regards John.
Thank for the kind comments. This is a male Iguana and he is, with his very long tail, more than 6 feet long. Iguanas are not native to Florida, but now they can be found all over. They are vegeterians.
Thank you, Esther, for your kind words on my profile and welcome to FC.
I hope you enjoy your hobby a lot with us.
Greetings from València
