on Protection Island ...
overgrown and becoming one with nature ...

yes, another one, and I know 3 more old wrecks on different islands. These islands are very small, usually one farming family lived there many years ago - there are no roads, just hiking paths through the woods - there is no ferry service and it is very difficult and expensive to transport the vehicles off the islands ... indeed sad for the environment - but a special and fun motif for the photographer....

  danke, liebe Sina .... die kleinen Golf Inseln bei uns waren oft von nur einer Familie bewohnt, die das Land verliessen...Strassen gibt es auf den Inseln nicht, auch keine Faehre, die die alten Wagen abholen koennte (diese Kleinlaster habe ich auf verschiedenen Inseln fotografiert - kein Autofriedhof im Wald)
