I don't speak french... so english must do :-)
I know this tiny little village. We travelled through the Prince William Sound having nice weather and suddenly behind a corner there was this village just on the bottom of a huge mountain. It looked so tiny and so quiet and peaceful.
Although sometimes the world turns around too quickly in our life over here and I sometimes long for a little more slowliness, I would not want to swap with them. But looking at it was great pleasure!

Ach, ist das schön - die Häuser wirken fast wie in einer Spielzeuglandschaft! Durch die bunten Häusle bekommt man einen hervorragenden Größenvergleich zu der Größe und Höhe der Berge.... Eine ganz wundervolle Aufnahme ist das wieder!

ce filet coloré de maisonettes au bas de cette falaise errodée, un ancien " iceberg " donne l'échelle de ces masses rocheuses qui peu à peu apparaissent avec le réchauffement climatique....

Such small little colorful houses in comparison with the great mountain behind.
To me a metaphor that is showing the insignificance of human beings by contrast with nature!
And: It reminds me of the so called "Hummerbuden" on the Island "Helgoland" in Germany.
