An Empty Plate of hope

An elder sits at the edge of her open door down a love maze like narrow passage which leads into a complex of the unseen poor, too disable to carry on the chores of the day. She placed her plate below her waker. Sometime, someone will gather her plate and wash her fork and plate. She is too weak from age to do this herself. Whoever she has hope and in her way the best she can fights for a brighter. At the end just behind her open door is. A pot of flowers in bloom is her sign of hope and herself worth to continue fighting to regain what she has lost in the course of life. That is the collateral of aging.

One day we will all face the same reality, when when that day comes... Hope there is a plan that is humane.

Each one of us has the symbolic "plate of hope"...Will it be full or empty? Who knows...

Sadly, the end for most of us is to grow old. Great photo showing off the realities of the elderly.

Old age anf infirmities come to us all... if we live long enough, but to do so in a state of poverty and with no-one to care.........
An excellent if very sad picture of life and how it treats many people.

    :))
