My very good friend Juan Carlos,...@ one of our favorite " hole in wall joints " to enjoy a quick bite and a drink.

If you notice the blue poster in the mirror, it reads " Micheladas ", its a very popular drink in the rural parts of Mexico, ( atleast this is where I have commonly known them ) Ingredients: 1-16ounce beer ( your favorite ) 1 part V8, 1part tequila, 1part tabasco sauce, 1part water, and some salt and pepper. ( some add a touch a vodka )

..this is what the waitress told me inregards to the ingredients.

Its commonly used to " cure " hangovers, but once in awhile its, especially in during the hot weather, it simply just cools you down,..the spicey part makes you sweat.

Just incase your wondering,..Juan Carlos is having a drink called " Orchata ",..which is rice water sweetened with cinammon and sugar with plenty of ice,..very delicious indeed!

I could not answer you this,...I myself am a casual drinker,...I may have a drink once a month,...heck, maybe even every other month,...

but, just as many wivetales,..( i hope spelled this right ) its something that the heavy drinkers swear by,..
