Calm Evening in False Creek

This is the route of the Dragon Boat racers .... they paddle from the Cambie Bridge (where I am standing) to Science World - the dome in the background. The water in the creek will not be calm on the day of the race - there will be wind.

Una gran verticalidad imponente en la imagen y grandes reflejos en blanco y negro.

    Adele,

Both of these photographs are lovely. I would have of these printed up professionally, matted, framed, and placed in a place of honor.

Such fabulous photography in reflections, cityscape with great multiple lines, contrast of color and shadows.

Love both of these. Just wondering Adele, were you using a zoom wide angle or a regular wide angle lens with your camera? I am currently looking for a Minolta wild angle and a zoom wide angle and I do not know which one is the better to choose. I have only so much room in my camera case/purse right now with my other lenses.

    Sincerely,

    Rosemarie

This is a beautiful shot! I love the reflections and the variety of buildings in the background. Personally, I would have stuck to the coloured version. The light is so beautiful there, I would not have wanted to lose it. Personal taste though

The mirrored skyline looks very modern. A good capture and a very fine editing work.

Auch moderne Architektur kann in einzelnen Fällen wunderbar beruhigend wirken!

Looks real great Adele ! To set the focus on the important part of the picture, i had croped the heaven part more. But anyway, make a print of this. Michael
