Capturing the park

Most common in Mexico City, a Sunday outing to the Chapultepec park.

The name "Chapultepec" means "at the grasshopper hill" in Nahuatl and refers to a large rock formation that is the center of the current park's "first section". Originally, this area was a forest outside of Tenochtitlan (Mexico City) considered sacred in pre-Columbian times, but today it is entirely within the city.

Eine Szene, wo sich so viel tummelt. Puh. Was passiert? Es ist wirklich eine "Invasion". Das kommt gut rüber. Und dass es trotzdem ein stimmiges Bild ist, in dem man sich zurecht findet, funktioniert für mich duch die farblich hervorgehobene verspiegelte Sonnenbrille und die leichte Farbschattierung am Boden. Toll auch die Bildkompositon. Gefällt mir sehr.
