Carnegie Reuben
At the Carnegie Deli, just a block from Carnegie Hall, their policy seems to be: If you can eat it all, we did something wrong. Here's the Reuben sandwich I ordered: a slice of rye bread covered by a huge mound of corned beef (you can get pastrami if you wish) topped with some sauerkraut, then covered with about a kilo of Swiss cheese. The Russian dressing comes on the side. And no, I didn't eat it all. Incidentally, the plate measures about a third of a meter.
