Huelga General 29-M 001

These were actually some of the first moments of the March 29th general strike & protests here in Barcelona, Spain. When the fire starters began their acts of disruption in various districts of our city...you knew the day was going to be an interesting one.

As for this series of photos taken at the crossroads of life found at the intersection of hostility & peaceful demonstration here in Barcelona. I witnessed plenty of history in the making at that very moment. BTW, I got hit by rubber bullets, threatened by an anarchist only because he happen to be in the way of my P.O.V. got choked up by tear gas, which is not the greatest tasting substance or really good on the eyes, that is for certain. So much more happened that I can´t even recall all of those moments yet somehow we all survived the chaos & pandemonium. I am not certain or even sure if any of it really meant a damn in the end as far as good governance goes.
