The American wigeon (Mareca americana), also called a baldpate, is a species of dabbling duck found in North America. This species is classified with the other wigeons in the dabbling duck genus Mareca. It is the New World counterpart of the Eurasian wigeon.

Oh, sei hat ein sehr schönes Gefieder! Und die Spiegelung ist Klasse! Hoffentlich weicht das Eis bald, denn die Wasservögel leiden doch sehr im Winter. Allerdings sieht sie gut genährt aus... Superb, Deine Aufnahme! LG! a.
