Eine in der Nähe von Lafayette, Ca gefundene Eiche (Quercus) im März dieses Jahrs. In der Nähe von San Francisco ist der "Winter" eher wie unser Frühling. Es gibt dort eine unfassbare Eichen-Diversität, die es mir jetzt aber auch nicht erlaubt den Baum genau zu bestimmen. Ich hoffe nur das der Baum trotz der Trockenheit und Feuer noch steht...

A Californian oak found near Lafayette, Ca. Taken this March. Now, "winter" in California is more like the middle European spring. There exists a vast diversity of oaks that on the contrary do not allow me to determine the species. Anyway, I just hope this tree still stands despite the drought and fires...
