Marsh Marigold

Here’s another wild flower : the Marsh Marigold.
It grows always in wet, boggy places, like swamps , fens, ditches and very wet woods (the background in the shot is 100% full swamp and impossible passable)
It flowers early april and may and is very valuable to insects at this time as they provide nectar and pollen to them.

Dutch name : Dotterbloem
German name : Sumpfdotterblume
Latin name : Caltha palustris

Marsh Marigold, ein schöner Name für eine schöne und in der Kulturlandschaft leider immer seltener werdende Blume!
Sehr detailreich und in schönem Licht dokumentiert, Mark und ein kleines Insekt hat sich auch noch darauf niedergelassen! :)
