Erschreckender Anblick mit dem Fell auf dem Rücken.....so ein Tier wird heute sicherlich nicht mehr für diese Tradition geopfert.....
Aber Du hast das natürlich von einem guten Standort aus aufgenommen....

  Sehe ich ganz genauso... habe ich ein wenig weiter unten auch thematisiert. Tradition hin oder her... man muss nicht alles gut finden, nur, weil es alt ist. Auch hier kann man sich weiterentwickeln und mal kritisch auf das Vergangene blicken, jedenfalls dann, wenn es um fühlende und leidensfähige Lebewesen geht.

Really nice scene... but as a huge animal and nature lover I can't agree about the death cougar, hanging there on the man's back.
It's so undignified - and it seems to me, that the poor and noble cat would die twice.

  thank you,, Sabine, and yes, I agree .... a strange traditon this must be, one wonders ... almost as bad as having a polar bear for a rug.
