    @ lockhear: thanks for the compliment, i don´t get you wrong. i can deal with criticism, as long as i can see where it comes from. and yes, there´s way too many pics here that are, unfortunately, not even worth looking at.

    I agree with you, that the quality of most of the pictures is not good. I also agree, that a LOT of people abuse the FC as a "picture Dump" and not as a community to share their best pictures, also nearly nobody wants to be critizised about their photos. And that sucks really! My point clearly was that "shit" is not an appropriate term and if you use words like that, most of the peolpe will go defensive. Also most of the people will go defensive, when you just say that you don´t like a photo ;-) but that is not the point. I like open, hard critics but somepeople take stuff like that too personal.

    So my critique was your choice of words, not the opinion in General :-D

    Maybe you are right. I admit my choice of words wasn't very clever. But what is your personal opinion on www.fotocommunity.com as whole? I see tendency to be "personal fotoalbum of my holiday", not server for photohraphers. And maybe that's what it should be, who knows. It seems this is the time for me to change.

    maybe you should tell the photographers that they upload a lot of "shit" into this section, because they cannot reach your high standards. But guess you haven´t have the balls for stuff like that. "Shit" is no constructive critisism, it is an insult.

    Don't get me wrong - i really appreciate that someone who can take good pictures of New Zealand is here. You are many levels higher than 90% of other "photographers" which are posting pictures to New Zealand section. Sometimes i can't believe my eyes, what shit they dare to post here :).
