Thats the situation, if its close to 8 p.m, the grocery store will shut in a few minutes and you are not at a "hustle and bustle" place.
No tourists, no cars, no buggies, nobody, but you :-)

however, its just a few steps to the Lehman´s Hardware Store, which is famous all around.
