when after a long day of sailing you reach your destination and it happens to be unexpectedly charming like a Norwegian village.
This is Sullivan Bay, a place and resort built onto docks ( no connection to the land behind ) ... all amenities are here and also a floatplane connection to Vancouver Island.

a sight so colorful, happy and down-to-earth that i bet it literally lightens the spirits of every exhausted yachtsman cruising into the bay! the runny, painterly reflections are great, especially contrasted with the dark green ones of the forest! "no connection to the land behind" – that's quite amazing! a portable/floatable arrangement, a norwegian village to go… ; )) hugs, sabine.
