First of all I have to thank Doris for the idea, the inspiration and her descriptions of the making-of through her kiwi picture! https://www.fotocommunity.com/photo/kiwi-doris-wepfer/44858126 I've struggled with food photography so far and in the end I always lacked the depth of the pictures, but this approach was really fun and has an enormous potential for addiction!

I took up the idea here and experimented a bit. First of all, I chose a different fruit color, although oranges are obviously not as evenly colored as kiwis. In addition, I personally like the blue light color of the xenon lamps, which is why I stayed in the blue range for the white balance.

I was particularly amused by the ricochets from the spray bottle that led to the crossing light strips. Somehow there was almost always one in my about 50 attempts ;-)
