    Did you play there at Palheiro Golf? One of the best views over Funchal from Club terrace.
    Have been there many times and the Mansion gardens are just beautiful.

      No. I'm afraid i don't play golf. But we did enjoy the gardens. And a lovely cheap meal at the modest bar beside the bus stop at the top of the hill (the lane) , away from the entrance.
