Racing Past Wisdom

A guru sits beneath the temple Pillars, Then a child races past peddling as hard as he can. He never looked back. Symbolically this boy represents the new India in the making.

fast and furious and glossy-haired, pedalling off into an orgastic future, or so he thinks… the crossed legs of the guru are like a road sign pointing both ways, into the future and into the past, while he himself is suspended motionlessly in between, directing his sad but nonchalant smile at the visitor from far away rather than at the new india outracing him. subjective thoughts triggered by your shot and caption ; )… greetings, sabine.
